You Are Chosen (2)

“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,” Eph 1:4 NKJV 

God has chosen you even before you were born. He has assigned roles individually to everyone of us His children.  Everyone has a purpose, mostly different from each other, and many times complimenting one another’s purposes. Just as we all received the universal call to come to God’s Family, everyone of us has been Chosen for a specific purpose.

What Has God Chosen Us For?
1. We have been chosen for holiness and salvation. Eph 1:4-5
2. We have been chosen for service and fruitfulness. Jn 15:16
3. We have been choosing for blessings. Det 7:6
4. We have been chosen for obedience. 1  Pet 1:2
5. We have been chosen for suffering. Php 1:29
6. We have been chosen for leadership and ministry. Jer 1:5, Acts 13:2
7. We have been chosen for God’s glory. Isa 43:7
8. We have been chosen for faithfulness. Rev 17:14
9. We have been chosen for witnessing. Mk 16:15-18, Acts 1:8
10. We have been chosen for worship. 1 Pet 2:9
11. We have been chosen for fellowship. 1 Cor 1:9
12. We have been chosen for good work. Eph 2:10
The list of what we have been chosen for by God in Christ is inexhaustible.

The summary of these is that God has chosen us to love Him, worship Him, serve Him, serve others, and keep ourselves holy and dedicated to Him for His good pleasure. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Rom 8:28 NKJV. Have you received Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour? Do this now. This is how you activate your being Chosen.

Prayer
1. I receive the grace to fulfill my divine purpose.
2. I shall not be replaced, my heavenly assignment shall not be given to others.
3. Power to start well and finish well, incubate my life, in the name of Jesus.
