Walking in dominion (5)
“And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.” Da 7:14.
The kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and all nations shall serve and worship him (Rv 11:15). All people, nations, and languages, will serve him; embrace his Gospel, submit to his ordinances, serve and worship him in every religious duty. This is the plan of God the Father for His Son. “God… Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” Hb 1:1-2. The dominion of Christ, the greatest of them all, he will share with his saints, the believers, who had left all things to follow him (Mt 25:31-36, Mk 10:29-30). When you walk in dominion on this earth as God commanded (Ge 1:26-28), you will be ready to reign with Christ in his dominion.
How to walk in dominion
1. You have to live the life of the word of God, reading and meditating on God’s word everyday (Jos 1:8, 2Tm 2:15).
2. Consecrate your life to God. You have to be different and set yourself apart like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Da 1:6-8).
3. Live a life of holiness (Hb 12:14, 1Pe 1:16).
4. Worship God at all times (Ps 5:3, 34:1, 92:2, 119:62).
5. Live a life of faith. Hb 11:6,33-34.
Dominion is yours in Christ Jesus. All you need is to establish a relationship with him today. Ask Jesus to come into your heart right now. If you know him and your relationship with him is no longer intimate, you can renew your relationship with him even right now. Ask him for forgiveness and restoration.
Prayer:
“Father God, we thank you for giving us the Victory through Jesus Christ, your Holy Son. By your power, we begin to walk and exercise our dominion authorities from today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
