Triumph Over Giants
“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Sam 17:50 NKJV
The fact that David, a shepherd boy, prevailed over a giant of over nine feet testified to the facts that as believers, our battles belong to the Lord, 1 Sam 17:47. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,” 2 Cor 10:4 NKJV. How else can we explain the slaying of a giant with a sling and stone, except the Lord took over the battle?
