The Profitability of Knowledge and Revelations

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Det 29:29

Though God keeps secrets, yet He reveals them to His children so that they can profit from them. It is our duty to search out knowledge through His word and dig deep into the secrets of God. “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Pro 25:2 NKJV

Those Who Profited from Knowledge

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Jos 1:8 NKJV. Several saints  profited greatly by applying biblical knowledge and understanding of the word of God.

1. Abel was able to offer an acceptable sacrifice to God because it contained blood.
2. Noah received revelations and knowledge from God which he used to build an ark to save himself and his family.
3. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob received knowledge and revelations from God and they were physically, materially and spiritually blessed.
4. Daniel did exploits in the land of Babylon through the abundant of knowledge and revelations of God in His life.
5. Apostle Paul, full of knowledge and revelations of God, was mightily used by God to take the Gospel to the Gentiles, and also to write about half of the New Testament.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night” Psa 1:2. Friend, where is your delight? If you will will devote as much time to studying the word of God as you do to secular readings, you would have increased in more knowledge and revelations. “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” Pro 9:9. Be a wise man today.

Prayer
Increase my hunger and thirst for your word, O God. Help me to seek sound doctrines, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
