The power of resurrection gives you life

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Ro 8:11.

Throughout the world yesterday and today we celebrate the Victory of our Lord Jesus Christ over death. Today’s being Easter Monday, all Christians everywhere gather together to meet him in Galilee to celebrate his Resurrection Victory, just as he commanded in the Bible (Mt 27:32 28:10, Mk 14:28,16:7). For we contemporary Christians, Galilee may be the regular place of worship in our local church, it may be a camp or a retreat ground. The important thing is that believers gather together to rejoice and celebrate Christ.

The Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead…’ Without any doubt, It is the Holy Spirit of God that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Even through Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, yet God’s Spirit lives in him 100%.  Death has no power over God’s Spirit. Every believer have a measure of the Holy Spirit in him or her at salvation. “…in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ep 1:13-14. He that had power to restore Christ to life, has power to give life to you.

Beloved, since we have the same Spirit with Christ, God will do the same thing in us, that He did in Christ. God will raise us up with glorious bodies in the last days. As Christ rose up with an heavenly and immortal body, so shall we all at the Resurrection of the saints. Our body is the temple of God (1Co 3:16), let us keep it so until the glorious reappearance of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” 1Jn 3:2-3.

Prayer:
Father God, let your Holy Spirit in us help us to be physically well to serve you with all our strength, and also keep us in you spiritually, until we shall be with you forever more, in Jesus name. Amen.
