Psalm 121: My help comes from the LORD
“My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Ps 121:2 NKJV
This is the right answer to give to someone or situation who mocks you saying, “You are finished.” “Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Ps 24:8 An idolater or cultist may mock you a Christian by pointing to his visible idol and asking where is your God; you will calmly reply him that your God made the heavens, and the earth and all things.
King Hezekiah prayed when Sennacherib the king of the Assyrian came with war boasting against the Living God, 2Ki 18:13-37, “O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou art the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth…” 2Ki 19:15-19. The Maker of heavens and earth answered him and disgraced the enemies. 2Ki 19:35-37.
