I give unto them eternal life (2)

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Jn 10:28

At the new birth, eternal life has already been gifted to the believers in Christ; it is not that they are hoping or praying for it. This is where Christianity is greater than all other religions.

They shall never perish. To perish means to be destroyed, or to be lost forever; to suffer the second death in the lake of fire. Rv 20:15. All true followers of Christ shall escape this, as they already have eternal or everlasting life. Note this same declaration in Jn 3:15,16,36.

Though a believer may fall, he shall rise again by repentance; the devil cannot snatch him away because he is in God the Father’s hand. Jn 10:29. What a blessed assurance!

Jesus Christ, the door of salvation, is opened for everyone to enter. Jn 10:9. He calls you to come unto him. Mt 11:28-39.
