“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Jn 10:28

What is eternal life? Eternal life means life forever. It is a continuation in heaven of the life we have here. Believing and following Christ is the beginning of eternal life. “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” Jn 5:24

And I give unto them eternal life. For Christians, eternal life is not a promise, but is already a gift. As long as a believer continues to follow Christ, he will have eternal life. Eternal life is not physical, it is a spiritual life. It is a gift of grace from Jesus Christ. Ep 2:8.

Jesus Christ is the door to eternal life. There is no other way. Jn 14:6. Believe in your heart and confess him with your mouth now. Rm 10:9-10.
