Find your wilderness

“And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days….” Mk 1:12-13.

The wilderness is a wrestling-place. It a place of conflicting alone with Satan and conquering the flesh. The wilderness is a place for ‘training for reigning.’ It is also a place of saying ‘Yes Lord. I come to do your will.’ It is a place of solitude; a place of Divine assignment. David passed through the wilderness experience before he could become the king of Israel even after being anointed. We must of our own accord go to the wilderness, lest circumstances forced us to do so.

“And the angels ministered unto him.” vv 13. After passing through the wilderness experience and overcoming temptations, angels ministered to Jesus Christ. Beloved, whatever you are going through, Jesus has been there (Heb 4:15). He overcame so that you can overcome. Seek the face of God today. Come to him. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” Jas 4:8
