Created for His Pleasure (4)
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Col 1:16 NKJV
How Do You Give God Pleasure?
1. Purpose
When you fulfill the purpose of God for your life, you are doing His pleasure. In order to fulfill the purpose of God, you need to ask Him, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Acts 9:6 NKJV. Not every good idea is God’s purpose for your life. Saul thought he was doing the right thing for God, by persecuting Christians (Acts 8;3 9:1-6), until God arrested him and revealed His purpose for Saul’s life, who later became Paul.
2. Praise
“The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” Rev. 4:10-11 NKJV. The 24 elders before the throne of God are praising Him non-stop because every moment, they receive fresh revelations of God. It is the extent that you know God that you will praise Him; so you need to know God more.
“Rejoice always,
Pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thes 5: 16-18. In the midst of our trials, afflictions, or lack we should praise God. We should tell God He is worthy to be praised no matter what we are going through. Never say that God has not done enough for you; if you say that, you will be denying Him His pleasure.

1. O God my Father, help me to find and fulfill my purpose in life.
2. The grace to praise you in all situations and circumstances, grant it to me, O God.
3. Every spirit of ingratitude in my life, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
