Created for His Pleasure (2)

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Rom. 11:36

When it comes to serving God, we are to do it wholeheartedly, and without expecting rewards from any man. In this way, we give God pleasure with our kingdom services. “Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Ps 100:2.

Are You Serving to Give God Pleasure?
It is God’s pleasure for us to serve Him wholeheartedly, whether we are faced with danger or applauses. The three Hebrew youths said whether God decided to save them or not, it is their pleasure to serve Him. “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Dan. 3:17-18 NKJV.
Nowadays, some Christians will only serve God where they can be seen and appreciated by others. Many Christians are queueing up to serve in the ushering and chorister units of their churches, but hardly will you find anyone ready to go out for evangelism.

Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”” Isa. 43:7. The reason for our existence is to glorify God and give Him pleasure. We are not to live for ourselves, but to live for the pleasure of God our Father, who created us and love us. Check your life; if there is any area not giving God pleasure, it is time to repent and come to Jesus Christ, God’s Holy Son, for salvation.

Prayer Points
1. Let the totality of my life give you pleasure, O God.
2. Give the boldness to serve you in every situation, O God.
3. Anything that will not give you pleasure, do not let me touch it, O God, in the name of Jesus.
